This is ridiculous. O.J. Simpson slapped Fred Goldman, his family, and the American legal system right in the face. "If I Did It," the now canceled book by Simpson reportedly detailed what O.J. "would have" done "if" he were to have killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. I'm am shocked and dismayed at this display of nonchalance about a bloody double murder. I do understand that O.J. was acquitted and cannot be tried again, but he was successfully sued for 33.5 million dollars by Fred Goldman, although Simpson never paid it. Whatever happened, if he committed murder or he didn't commit murder, a person should never write a book like this. Poor taste doesn't even begin to describe it. But you know, the way the media is today, I don't know why I'm surprised. Blood, gore, sex, and scandal; any of those words or subjects are an automatic front page story. Anything for profit. Now don't get me wrong, I like money. I don't believe money is the root of all evil, and the Bible doesn't say so. But the love of money is the root of all evil according to the Bible, and I believe it. I see this book as just another way to make money for O.J. Simpson and the publishers. But hey, why would the publishers care, all the blame and bad publicity was going on Simpson anyway because so many people believe he got away with murder. You know what, it doesn't matter. Wherever O.J. Simpson is right now, he's smiling.
