So here I am in my living room writing a blog when really, I should be writing a program for Dr. Park. Well, it's more for my benefit, but whatever.

I'm giving a talk on August 1st in that really nice room on the 3rd floor of Robeson at 4pm if anyone is interested in listening to me talk about things they already know physics wise. I don't know what to pick as my topic... Something condensed matter related, but not quantum computation, since Justin is doing that... So I'll be looking through some Physics Today articles to pick something...

Ughh... I need to finish this program by Friday.. Or Thursday night since Friday I'll be busy entertaining freshmen physics majors :] They seem pretty nice so far. I've basically been trying to figure out who's most likely going to stay and who won't. The girl today didn't seem promising until she said she was in 3 math classes, which is what I did first semester... so who knows. Two of the 4 guys seemed pretty into it and cool, so I think they'll be staying... Now let's see how the other freshmen are :] I'm excited.

Oh, and I need a new couch. Preferably free, but let me know if you know of anything. And not gross.
