I think a lot. Too much, actually. I guess that's why I write. I think of writing as my own personal pensieve (for those of you up on your Harry Potter). Each time I sit down and write, I take a memory or a thought from the swirling cosmos of my mind and let it rest somewhere else. Not only does this free up room in that chaotic cosmos, but it also allows me to get a better look at the retrieved item and perhaps make connections I wouldn't have seen while it was jumbled up with the rest of them.
