DJing
I've been DJing for 14 years because I love the music and the challenge of making something new with a mix. If I were doing it for any other reasons, they fell along the wayside long ago. I've had plenty of times I've wanted to give it up, but my reasons for continuing go right to the core of who I am.
I'm humbled by the amount of talent out there on the decks, but I'm not in competition with anybody except myself.

Producing
I started out using Impulse Tracker and releasing .MODs for free through a group called "Space Invaders". A decade and several new programs and hardware upgrades later, I'm still making music mostly for myself and releasing it for free. However, just because it's free doesn't mean it's not valuable. Check out the sounds and judge for yourself. I see music as a communal artform, and it's my privelege to give back after receiving so much.
