The first Vice Presidential debate between Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden has everyone's expectations raised. How will Gov. Palin do? Will Biden be gaffe-free?
The debate is scheduled for Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. at Washington University, and will be moderated by Gwen Ifill. The choice of Ifill as moderator has raised some brows as her bias toward the Obama-Biden ticket is, one might say, clear. She has a book scheduled for release on Inauguration Day titled Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama. Writing a book about one of the candidates scheduled for release on THAT day is perhaps not exactly unbiased, but Americans can be the judge of that.
In any case, TalkStraight will be blogging live about the debate, but in a different format from the first Presidential debate. This time we are opening up a chat room where you can enter the conversation and talk about the debate as it happens. We will post any updates here and comment there as well. Please register at the chat room site so you will be able to access it quickly when the debate starts. It's quick, easy and painless.
