I woke up this morning to discover that my pretty ice cream blondie won 1st place in the Fine Art/ Illustration category of the Xto Image Awards
The 1st and 2 place pieces will be exhibited in a gallery show in New York City July 9-16, where the grand prize winners will be announced. The jury consisted of a great assortment of people; Robert Berman, Drome Magazine, Jugular NYC, Max Magazine - so I am stoked - it's a nice vindication that digital art is just as "real" of an art form as a painting thank you very much :)
