Over at Tee & Cakes we are really lucky to have some super cool and challenging projects thrown our way by our customers. This cake was created for a musician’s 40th Birthday. Pretty rockin, no?! This particular cake is almost to scale as well at about 80 percent of the size of his actual guitar case.

Last weekend we had the honor of doing a cupcake tree for Meals On Wheels’ “A Holiday Festival of Trees.” We worked with the fabulous Centerplate Events on the CU campus on this rather Christmassy Sunday morning.

Here’s a cake our chef did over the weekend. This beer cake, modeled after Magic Hat’s flagship beer #9 (the very first microbrew I have ever had back in ‘95), was super fun to create and this results are like a tasty “cake bomber.” Bottoms up!

Today we are featuring our amazing Eggnog cupcake as well as our Gingerbread Stout (using Great Divide’s Yeti) cupcake and our returning supercupcake from last season: Peppermint Wonderland. These cupcakes will not only blow your taste buds’ little minds, but they will rocket fuel you right into the holiday season. Christmas has come early for you. We have apple pie slices today! Also, we have stopped taking pie orders for T-day, however we will have a couple extras tomorrow. Not sure how many, so if you missed the deadline come by early to grab one…

This year we are doing 5 different pies. This is a slice of the pumpkin pie. We have these today, along with Bacon Maple Bourbon Pecan. We are using Munson Farms pumpkins. Check out our pastry chef, Rachel, showing you how to properly slay a pumpkin for pie. These are the kind of pies you look forward to all year and will talk about for the next year. Don’t miss out! Today and tomorrow you will be able to buy slices of our famous pies. 3.25 slice. Choose from Maple Bacon or Chocolate Pecan. These pies will be available from now until Thanksgiving. 48 hours notice for the pies, and stay updated on the web site for when we have the slices.
