Gearing Up
My biking gear was finally delivered. Being a noob and all I didn't have anything that would keep me dry or warm, so I thought I'd better stock up on the gear before it starts snowing and I freeze my rear off. My good friend Dave Merwin recommended I check out REI for some good inexpensive biking gear, which is what I did.

I've actually ridden up the Gavia and those gloves would've been perfect for my frigid decent.

yeah, they have been a winning pair of gloves. there were about 5 days this winter where I had to put a shell over them, but that's it.
