News: Be Your Own Pet's Jemina Pearl and Johnny Rash back in action?

Not long since the break-up that shook our world last year, Be Your Own Pet's lead firethrower Jemina Pearl and drummer/too-boyish-to-be-grimy-garage-rock Johnny Rash are back, in, well, some way, shape or form.  A cryptic MySpace page exists for the two of them under …

Download: Jemex - "Dance Till Day"

We'll always have a soft spot for funky, blissed out 2-step garage beats and R&B melodic vocals, which makes loving this track from Brooklyn-based producer/artist Jemex pretty easy.

Download: Cape Town's Lapse makes wild remixes

(this photo had this orientation so we left it alone)

Lapse is nothing more than what Hipster Runoff would call an "altBro" from South Africa who likes to get behind the turntables and throw down bangers at parties.

Video: Robyn stops by the Cherrytree House

The most amazing indie pop goddess Robyn stopped by the offices of Cherrytree Records recently and the guys at the label finally put the teaser video up for the full length performance.

Spontaneous and bored, the kids from swirly, avant, rhythmically-moving outfit Excepter were hanging out in Chinatown in LA recently and were, well, waiting for a bus.
