Mr. Whipple is dead. That's right, the grocer from the '70s era Charmin toilet paper ads passed away today in suburban Los Angeles. He ranks right up there with Donnie and Marie, Captain Kangaroo, and the kid from the Oscar Mayer weiner commercial as one of my childhood icons. I'll probably forget a lot of things before I forget "Don't squeeze the Charmin!" Check out the film below...
Lookin' forward to a lot this week. Of course, Thanksgiving is this Thursday, and I get to perform my annual culinary ritual involving a deep fryer and a turkey. I'll probably sleep through a couple of football games after all the L-tryptophan gets in my system! If I'm not too tired (yeah right!) I'll help Amy and her father get out the Christmas decorations Thursday evening, and promptly get out of the way as she puts up the Christmas decorations and trees. I'll let you guess how many trees we have in our home! Anyway, it's all good because Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year.
On another note, I'm really looking forward to this Christmas at church. We've got some awesome things planned for you, and we'll be totally rockin' it out for Jesus birthday throughout the holiday season. Hope you're planning to check it out!
Later,
