I've said before that Christmas is my favorite time of year, and Gateway is gonna really blow out the doors this December. With that in mind, I'm asking for your help in two areas...

1. Many of you noticed that that Christmas tree in our auditorium has lights but no ornaments. Therefore, we're asking your family to help provide the ornaments. Just put your name somewhere on it, so we can get it back to you! (btw - we have two Jeff Gordon ornaments on the tree so far, and no I haven't brought mine yet!)

2. Christmas can be a tough time for many people, especially kids. This year, Gateway is working through a couple of local schools to provide Christmas gifts for disadvantaged families in Wayne County. Your Gateway Kids have been collecting money for a few weeks and now we're issuing the challenge to you. Operation: Celebrate! is your opportunity to show the true spirit of Christmas to those in our community. Bring your financial contribution and place it in the box beside the Christmas tree in the auditorium. As always, your contribution is tax deductible.
