This Thursday, I will go further north than I've ever been. Amy and I are flying into Minneapolis en route to Clearlake, Iowa. We've been looking forward to this trip ever since I was asked to do a wedding in Clearlake. It will be great to get away for a few days. Amy's already having dreams about the Mall of America. As for me, I can't wait to see the rollercoaster inside. I've also heard that the LEGO and IKEA stores are pretty cool.

Mostly, however, I'm looking forward to seeing that part of the country. About my only reference points for the natural beauty of Minnesota and Iowa are re-runs of Little House on the Prairie. I can't wait to see it for real. I'll keep you posted while we're on the trip...
