Since I started this blog, Amy has been after me to explain my picture to you. In it, I'm holding a match. Since our Life Group began this past October, we've had kind of a running competition with several other groups. One group said they were the best, one group claimed to be the greatest, ours claimed to be "the most fired-up." That nickname became especially poignant after a basket of Doritos on the dining room table caught on fire during our group's Christmas party!

Therefore, when it came time to take pictures of our groups, we decided that we would all hold lit matches. In the group picture, we all look like we could pass as charter members of Pyromaniacs Anonymous.
