Hey guys! Thinkin' about last Sunday night... Gateway had its inaugural "First Funday" celebration this past Sunday evening. As part of the evening, 7 people showed everyone they are Christ Followers by being baptized. Gateway has this portable baptistry that "theoretically" allows me to baptize people without getting wet. Yeah... right! But I don't mind getting a little wet..., most especially when others get completely drenched for Christ.

Let me also say, you don't want to miss church this Sunday; trust me. I promise you'll be blown away as our Mythbusters series tackles the belief that a personal relationship with Christ ensures that you'll have no problems in life. Here's a hint, "Get your motor runnin', head out on the highway..."

I also want to say a special word to my girls - (my three older girls finished school this week, and the little one continues to explore the boundaries of all it means to be 2). Julia, Bailey, Madi, and Avery, I'm so proud of the way you're growing. Mom and I couldn't be prouder of you, and we love you very much.
