speaking of beats, times, and life! My trusty buddy died the other day. Been with me 14 years. My AKAI s950 sampler.
I was told that it could have been the power supply. Maybe because of a neglected floppy drive issue. But the diagnosis called for a transplant. And a donor s900 was found. But after the transplant, it was to no avail. The donor transformer was dead too.
