My name is Josiah.
I am a Christian - I'm trying to find the right balance in that. I don't want to run around sporting W.W.J.D bracelets, knowing all the words to 'Jesus Freak', and hitting people in the face with an NIV (Teen Edition) bible. Neither do I want to blend into the world and hide my faith behind numerous allusions and smoke-and-mirrors tactics. Also, I HATE (yes, I know it's a strong word, you don't have to point that out) cheesy Christian T-shirts (which is mostly all of them).
I'm a graphic designer. I design things. I over-analyze things like the typographical structures of menus at restaurants. I can't sit through a movie without silently (or audibly) critiquing the logos I see. I also can't stand when people use Photoshop filters and act like they're hot stuff. I've spent a lot of time learning good design principles that I will apply to web stuff later on (instead of what appears to be the going trend of learning a bunch of web tricks and skimping on the learning of actual design). What I'm trying to say is this - I don't know enough CSS to make my profile look super fancy yet.
Random Tidbits: I like learning things; I get a kick out of people-watching sometimes; I usually start laughing in serious situations (which only compounds when people try to express the seriousness of the situation); when I was a kid I really wanted to go on Legends of the Hidden Temple.
If you run across this profile, go ahead and introduce yourself and we can try to be friends. (But, please tack on a message so I know you're legit.)

In the 50s, all one had to do to be blackballed from American society was whisper "hey, what's with that Lenin guy anyhow?"; today, that sentence has been replaced by "I hate football."
I don't get why people like football. My main problem is time: at any given …

how are you.
Kristin, Jun 9, 2007:
I meant closer than that! I wanted to be able to read the boards and stuff! I looked at ALL your thesis pictures.
Kristin, Jun 9, 2007:
Your project looks awesome! You never told me you were making clothes... how could you?? I guess we're even for the goofy movie thing now. I must say I especially liked your shirt with the animal sacrifices. I wish you had more close-up photos on the graphics themselves and the storyboard next to them.... but hey, I understand. I was up for 34 hours straight working on my stuff.... I was slapping myself to stay awake driving to school.... not safe - I wouldn't recommend it to anyone...
