Dear Angels and Devils- we just got out of boot camp again people. Locked in the same room for weeks on end you turn a little green. Nice to know the sun is still out there. Are you out there too?

Here’s the news. Jesse still breaks sticks by the dozen. I still destroy guitars and amps. Billy is still zen incarnate - and yes the devil duck on his amp still speaks to all 3 of us. Although we have some acoustic numbers and some more experimental things on the new record, don’t get it twisted….we are coming to town to bleed, sweat, rant and rave on the stage for you.

We have 11 new songs to release to the world- 10 with lyrics and one lil lullaby if you get scared in the wolf hour. A couple things made it from the last 5 song demo- but they were reworked and rerecorded and have happily found their places to live for good (you never finish a record- you just stop working and let it belong to everyone else- IE- get on with it freddy....). I will be writing blogs about the recording process in a couple weeks- there are some fun things to report from this record- including picking up half the sounds in Los Angeles in the mics…..

The new record is titled “REDLANDS” – with yet another lovely album cover created by the illustrious Wade Hate. The record will not officially be released until june or july of this summer- but thankfully the powers that be fully understand that BANDS PLAY and so we will be back on the road in two weeks- and WE CANNOT WAIT.

We are now knee deep in rehearsals – getting ready for both the rock show and the stipped down acoustic shows. Thankfully the acoustic shows are all ages and give us a chance to play for some new fans that can’t gain admittance to the clubs. Border’s and Apple stores are signing on left and right- and we are looking to stay out for a lot of summer 09 as well.
