On Jan 2nd, 2008, Kali and Matt started driving across the country with a Jetta, their instruments, and a pile of songs that needed to be mixed and mastered. Portland was kind enough to take them in and give them service industry jobs (don't try this at home, though), and they soon found a collection of musicians who liked playing music together in a dark, filthy basement. Blah blah blah, shows, album release, tour, internet fans, and now you're reading this. The AJs are currently continuing to build up real show-going fans on the West Coast while enjoying lots of random YouTube love from all over the world.
