I've made it out to Seattle four times. Each time the weather has been unbeatable. Sun shining, sky blue, green life growing in the midst of downtown, and beautiful architecture. Honestly, I'm starting to believe that locals tell everyone it rains all the time as a ploy to keep the city to themselves. I'm on to you Seattle...and I like it. I would love it if Boulder stopped growing, but it does seem slightly unfair to keep a place so lovely all to your self.
I've really enjoyed the road this tour. We've managed to stay with great friends and meet a lot of new folks along the way. Thank you to those that have opened your homes and let a band disrupt your life for a while! It has been a great lesson in hospitality. I think I forgot about that attribute before I started touring and I've been hugely humbled by each host/hostess we've come to know. In kindergarden we learn that sharing is good, even though it was my nature to hog all the good toys, dress-up clothes, and snacks (mama always said I was a good eater:). Since I've gotten older I've had to relearn that lesson, "sharing is caring".
Three cheers for life lessons we learned in kindergarden and had to relearn in our mid-twenties.
Cheers,
Tifah
