Hello Friends and Strangers (hopefully soon to be friends)!
Can you believe it's December 1st? Thirty more days until 2009. I remember thinking when I was a little kid that by 2009 hover boards would be real and that I would be older. One of those became true. If you are reading this and do not know what a hover board is go rent 'Back to the Future' immediately, this will answer all of your questions and entertain you for a solid ninety minutes. I digress.

As I reflect on 2008 a lot has changed. Things I never expected happened--good and bad. Life has taken its turns and unfolded a vast amount of writing material and it's time to let it out. So this December I will be on my wonderfully old upright piano (shout out to craigs list), doing my best to capture the rawness, depth, and weight of all that I've felt these past few months. I look forward to sharing them with you all as we head back out on the road January 1st. We're finally making it to the east coast! So friends, enjoy the rest of 2008, drink some nog, spread some cheer, and get ready for some new music.
