The Big Rap Quartet è un gruppo di musica sperimentale nato nel 2006 a Cagliari in Italia.
Il gruppo lavora su una fusione di suoni elettronici e acustici, come pure su field recordings e sample ricercati.
La musica è spesso oscura e ossessiva, composta da soundscapes minimali e costruiti su suoni in bassa frequenza. Carismatica, Elegante, Caratteristica, ne risulta un suono abrasivo che si discosta dalla tradizionale struttura compositiva.
L'intento non è quello di risultare all’interno degli standard, ma piuttosto di modificarli, concretizzando l’ingegno e la creatività con un solo fine… MANIPOLARE IL RUMORE

Born in 2006 in Cagliari (the capital of Sardinia - Italy),The Big Rap Quartet is a band who performs experimental music.
The band works on a mix of both electronic and acoustic sound, adding field recordings and well thoug samples. The result is often a kind of dark and obsessive music, made of minimal soundscapes built on low frequence layers of sound.
Charismatic, Stylish, Distinctive, is the abrasive sound which results in a difference from the traditional structure of an opus.
Our aim not to be inside standard schemes, but to rather modify them, carrying out the cleverness and creativity with just one goal: to manipolate the noise
