Meet Ron Griffo, Jake Strawser, Christian Adams & Ryan Martin - Buffalo, NY's own THE BOY AND HIS MACHINE. It's safe to say that since the bands 2009 release "Show Them What You're Made Of" the guys have solidified a sound all their own - and after gracing the pages of Alternative Press Magazine, signing a record deal in Japan & embarking on a full U.S. tour they've been quite busy. THE BOY AND HIS MACHINE has released 2 EPs to date 1 exclusively to iTunes - and in the Summer of 2008 the band was voted one of the top "21 Unsigned Artists of 2008" by Purevolume.com. Immediately following, they made their way to Baltimore, MD to record their Debut EP titled "Show Them What You're Made Of" with producer/engineer Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, Senses Fail). Since then the band has toured the entire U.S. on the EP & recently shot a video for the single "Hook, Line & Sinker" - a song that defines the bands style to a "T".
2009's "Show Them What You're Made Of" quickly began to grow in popularity staying in the top 3 sold albums on Smartpunk.com for over 2 months, catching the attention of Japan based Twilight Records (Plain White T's, QuietDrive). In March of '09 the band signed on the dotted line - opening the doors to an entire new realm of listeners overseas & with an Alternative Press feature around the corner TBAHM was really on the move. The bands accomplishments may seem to be happening quite fast but to say that the guys haven't earned all of it would be an out - and - out lie. Come to a show, you won't see a glitter covered iPod & the latest neon clothing - you'll see a real BAND - the guys put every ounce of passion & effort into their live performance & musicianship making their live show an unforgettable experience.
This is only the beginning - the band is searching for a label in the U.S. & has plans to tour, tour, tour - making what they love to do - a permanent lifestyle.
