about thebrotheregg

thebrotheregg is a four-piece rock collective comprised of numerous artificial teddy bears from Portland, Oregon. Live and spinning on recorded media, thebrotheregg make mountains of sound emanating bright beams and golden chariots that unnaturally gallop skyward. thebrotheregg project is a continuous inquiry into sound and emotional goo which appeals frantically to sources both earthly and otherwise.

history:
In 1992, thebrotheregg contributed the song, "Utopia" to a split 7" record and that offering marked the band's humble origins. 4 full-length albums and hundreds of gigs later, thebrotheregg continue to donate engaging and constantly exploding out pop music to the grand murk of rock.
the Dandelion wine label is currently celebrating the release of their latest thebrotheregg untitled "7 song e.p." that will be officially available in March but for now is only secretly available at this secret location. Upon its official release, it will be available on CD, mp3, and vinyl 12" so you can experience it in many ways. Mp3s are available for cost at the secret link above or for FREE on this site. If you find yourself digging on the free stuff, consider ordering a copy on cd or vinyl for the vastly better fidelity and beautiful protective and decorative packaging depicting numerous ink bugs in Technicolor cytoplasm.
You can see thebrotheregg play live. Catch www.thebrotheregg.com for reliable listings!
