Through community action and involvement, The Wellspring Collective strives to be a positive impact on those suffering under the weight of poverty.
We offer to assist non-profits, churches and businesses by providing practical training and productivity coaching.
Our offer of assistance also extends to those outside of the U.S. We work to improve living conditions for orphans in foreign countries by teaming with indigenous people. For anything from building walls to feeding programs, we are available to take teams of volunteers on missions trips.

Rex and Lanie Barrett have been involved in non-profit work for over a decade. Rex works to increase productivity and proficiency in the office in order to increase the amount of time available for the truly life-changing work that takes place out of the office. He provides extensive consultation for organizations wanting to do the same.
Lanie writes, edits, and proofs various newsletters and articles for an international missions organization.
Sharing a desire to impact their community, the Barretts founded The Wellspring Collective in order to provide a meeting ground for non-profits to work with non-profits, for churches to work with churches regardless of spiritual beliefs, and for non-profits to work with churches.
Monday's rant 5 days ago
I'm going to keep this one short and sweet to see if we can get some comments (discussion) going on this topic. I'll go first and you all can follow.
So, here is the topic. Senior Pastors speaking about stuff they really have no idea about.
You become a part by deciding to do something about the world around you. The thought goes through your mind, "Where do I even begin?" This is where The Wellspring Collective steps in.

By having your name on this page you are saying:
1. I'm ready to make a lasting difference in my community
2. Partnership is key, I will connect with local non-profits
3. I will join into this conversation, I will contribute globally, whether it be through giving my time or my financial resources.
Here's how it works. Girl Scouts of America contacts us; they need volunteers for a pilot program they are organizing for Oklahoma City and Mid-Del Public schools. This project is designed to address the issue of an alarming number of female students dropping out of schools throughout the state. Through time spent with community leaders and volunteers, girls will be able to learn valuable leadership skills that will build courage, confidence, and character. The Wellspring Collective is able to make connections with churches and civic organizations to recruit volunteers wanting to be a part of this life-changing endeavor.
A local non-profit begins a project designed to reduce the cost of utilities for low income families. The non-profit with the great idea contacts Wellspring and we begin to contact other non-profits in the area that might also be interested in the project. A civic organization decides to run with this idea and contacts Wal-Mart, who in turn allows the civic organization to purchase the lights at a substantially reduced price. This organization throws a yearly Christmas party during which they give needy children from the local schools presents. The Wellspring is able to lend a helping hand as the organization provides gifts for a multitude of children and compact fluorescent lights for their parents.
The Refuge is a new project designed to assist the homeless abounding in number throughout downtown Oklahoma City. Refuge founders hold a workday to prepare a former warehouse for this worthy effort and The Wellspring is able to provide volunteers. The volunteers assist in laying tile and installing heaters in small residential units that will serve as a base for those who will be reaching out to the homeless on a full-time basis. At the end of the day, it is wonderful to know we are able to help restore a building that will be used to restore lives! Wellspring continues to interconnect with those people wanting to see downtown Oklahoma City transformed.
A local chamber of commerce desires to have a web presence. They contact The Wellspring to see if we can help make this happen. We are able to partner with a local business that specializes in graphic design and is willing to donate the time and resources. The project continues to develop, providing businesses throughout the city with a way to connect and with an ability to work together toward common yearly goals.
