Exploding out of small town Aledo, Illinois comes the fresh sound of The Dawn Retreat. After roughly two years of member, name, and genre changes, the band marked the first day of 2008 as their true beginning. The family lineup was complete, the sound was created, and the plans were in motion. Ever since then, the boys have been spreading the Word and the love with their technical pop rock sound throughout the Midwestern region, opening for such notable acts as Emery, Project 86, War of Ages, and many more. The Dawn Retreat’s debut EP ‘Kings & Queens’ was released on April 5th of 2008 and they are currently finishing up production on their full length album ‘Royalty’, which is set to drop late 2009 through Fidelity Entertainment Group.
