Like Big Band in the 1920s and classical music before that, instrumental music has always been around, if not in the forefront. Now, bands like Explosions in the Sky, Pelican, and Sigur Ros are proving instrumental bands can be very successful once again. The Disconnect is an instrumental rock band from the Lehigh Valley in PA. They've been compared to bands such as Explosions in the Sky, Appleseed Cast and U2.
The Disconnect, with over 60 shows under their belt in their first two years of existence, has developed an intense and emotionally charged live performance which has helped them impress unsuspecting crowds and gain a following quickly.

And Maybe We All Just Have... - 4 new songs we recorded at lebanon valley college as a project for a group of recording students, they did a good job. Now you can hear them.
2006 ep - the songs we recorded professionally...these songs are also on the cd we sell at our shows.
Random things... - these are songs we recorded live at practices and shows...they're not great quality...there's even some flubs in there...but, hey, you can hear them if you want. It's real, it's raw...it's un-messed with...and..most of them are were actually recorded with a video camera...so...yeah.
