Where I Used To Sleep - In Stores November 4
Pre-order Now
The Exotic Aquatic is the name of indie folk singer-songwriter Jason Soroka's current band and most notable music project to date. The Exotic Aquatic also features multi-instrumentalist Ryan Turner, artist/piano player Brian Pho, and a rotating lineup of close friends.
Jason has been independently releasing music on a DIY label he co-owns since the age of 16. He and Ryan had played together in numerous bands in high school before Ryan became a full-time member. Brian, who dropped out of art school in California to rejoin the band on the east coast, uses the band as his art muse in designing many of the band's visual aspects. After a three year writing binge, Jason and his band of cohorts have a new EP- Where I Used To Sleep.
Recorded to analog tape primarily in a New Jersey basement, Where I Used To Sleep showcases Jason's ever-growing lyrical and musical ability. For those not familiar with The Exotic Aquatic sound, the album serves as a perfect introduction to the full-bodied garage pop.
Where I Used To Sleep will be released on a limitedly pressed CD available in Hot Topic stores and iTunes on November 4 via Howland Circle Records.
