About
Justin Rigdon wasn't born with a natural talent for music. He never took lessons or even so much as joined band in high school, but he didn't care. All he knew was that he wanted to write songs about things that were important to him, even if they weren't important to anyone else. Music was, is, and will always be his safety net.
When he was 13 years old his parents bought him his first guitar. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was enough to give him the push into music. And so, with guitar in hand, he locked himself in his room for hours at a time and taught himself how to play. As the years passed by he began packaging the songs he had written under several different monikers. None of them stuck, until now.
The Fierce Atlantic has gone by several different names over the past twelve years accompanied by an ever changing sound. It wasn't until 2009 that the man behind the music found his sound, he never knew it would be that simple. He began with dreams of playing huge venues with a full band, but found that sometimes it takes less to make more. Armed with only an acoustic guitar, a Macbook, and his whisper-like voice , Justin plans to take his own tiny world by storm.
