Formed in the Summer of 2006 The Hoanhiêu is committed to spheric and eclectic, yet beautiful electronic music that touches on the tunes of Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, Autechre and many others. Consisting of 4 humanoid beings (Wagner, Waechter, Goldener and Tharayil), imaginary landscapes, children in cornfields, blinking diodes and apocalyptic imagery are part of the musical tenor. The wish is to create something dilly, something that sucks you in and let's you sleep better at night after raving in the clubs. With a bunch of electronic instruments, guitars and vocal effort the group is trying to make this pious claim come true.
