Welcome to The Luna Moth's home on VIRB. We're big fans of the networking, but not big fans of heavily commercialized sites covered in overweight flash ads for crap we don't care about with poor design and more bugs than summer in Georgia. If you're here, chances are you feel the same way. To celebrate this, and encourage all our friends here to revel in it, we're actually offering our full length debut, in it's entirety, for download here on this very page. Go for it. Enjoy.
So that's it. Thanks.

The Luna Moth is a band comprised of three parts. The neutron, the proton, the electron. You need all three for it to work. Otherwise you get into like quarks and stuff. And you don't want that.
The Luna Moth plays the drone rock. And has a penchant for long repetitive songs focused on a bare minimum of chords. They prefer to wring all possible meaning and innuendo out of that minimalist a melody, using the full spectrum of dynamics to express what it is they are opting to express. Then again, maybe they're just too lazy to write more complicated stuff. The Luna Moth is sometimes very quiet, and you can hear things in the spaces they leave. Other times The Luna Moth is very loud. And you can only hear them ... for miles ... for days. The Luna Moth has roots in the community, and not in their hair.
