THE MINT, based out of Lancaster, PA, is comprised of four very talented musicians who have bonded together with the intent mission of writing and recording relevant music that reflects the hearts and passion of the individuals. The result is an original collage of musical talent that blends atmospheric climactic melodies and influences from musical icons such as Third Eye Blind, U2, Coldplay, and Oasis.

THE MINT released a self-financed four song EP demo entitled All That's Left Unsaid in 2002 and audiences quickly became fans, buying over 2,000 copies. Quickly realizing that their music was making an impact, they soon released The Astronaut, a seven song EP in June of 2003 and incredibly sold over 1,000 copies in less than three months with no promotion or distribution. Their self-titled four song EP was released in 2004 and has eclipsed the 10,000 copies sold mark.

Corporations have taken note of the popularity of their music and have linked their brand with the band's image and sound. Some campaigns that The Mint has participated in include the Sheetz's Everyday Rocks campaign (2006), The Hershey Company sponsorship of the US Track and Field Program (2006), and most recently, the 2007 Volkswagen Sights and Sounds Auto Show Tour.

THE MINT have played with such artists as Sixpence None the Richer (Word Record), Jars of Clay (Essential Records), Relient K (Capitol), Lovedrug (The Militia Group), and many others.

THE MINT is an ambitious and hardworking band, driven by the faith they share. Their whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The lyrics are honest; their energy, spiritual and driving; and the music they create, pure artistry.
