Not quite a whole week of waiting for a new song but I was a little late last week so I thought what the hell, I'll throw one up. This is also the first song Pete has been on since we started the whole song-a-week thing and not only that but he's got two bass parts in the song. I wrote this song thinking about how nice it would be to get away from my job, my stresses, you know... all the bull everyone goes through. But the catch is you run away from all that and you find a whole new set of problems and all really need is the one that are close to you. Deep huh? It's also got lyrics about jetpacks and robots and I like that sort of junk. I also like the reverse cymbal at the begining and all the little filler keyboard parts. Lee and I spent hours working out the arrangements. All in all I really like this song and recording so yay. Later, Ryan H.
