Anyone who has read my comics knows that I kind of have a thing for tentacles. I wrote a whole story called Tentacles for Kitty Litter , a lot of my monster have them like the one in the story I'm doing now and thouroughly just love to draw them. Almost as much as zombies. Anyway, it's no wonder that tentacles would seep into my music. I wrote this during a period of writing a lot of water inspired music. I don't live near the water and haven't been near the ocean in a very long time but I do live close to a pretty big lake so maybe driving past it every day inspired me. That and I like pirates and tentacles. The way the song loops back to the begining at the end was a happy accident while Lee and I were mixing and adding keyboards and fillers. I love happy accidents and it's rare that we don't use them. I can't remember much else about this recording session other than I think it's one of the first songs we recorded on the computer.
