Overdose is an alt rock quartet from Monza(Milan-Italy).
The group was founded in the latest months of 2006 by Stefano(mouth-guitar) and Lorenzo(bass) as a duo called Village Vomit.
We looked for a drummer until we noticed Nicola,in January/Febrauary 2007, who previously played with Stefano in another band.
So the group finally borned turning its name into Overdose (the name we have chosen to fight against the system) and creating its fresh soundscape mainly influenced by grunge stuff, punk rock melody, hard rock, creative noises, visions, psyichedelic metidation, rage, dreams and every-day life.
In September 2007 joined us the friend Alessandro, as keyboard-player and 15 December 2007, we sent out our first record, Act One(for free downlaodable @ Internet Archive ) , a demo recorded in 6 hours made of 7 songs written in 2007 and prevoius years.
Along 2008 we've been playing some live shows and now we're glad of our experience, so we keep on playing new pieces, waiting for a new and better record and aspiring to broadcast our emotions and life through the music and lyrics, written in english and in italian, too.
