Big and heavy are two words that come to mind when describing the Pinstripes sound. Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, the Pinstripes have been hard at work crafting this sound since 2003, studying the music that moved them most by legendary artists like the Skatalites, Lee Perry, Wilson Pickett and Toots and the Maytals. In that time they have brought their music to crowds across the U.S. from Florida to Chicago to NYC, playing over 200 shows as group. Their songs range from raucous anthems to spacious dub grooves; from the party to the personal to the political and everything in between. The music is hinged on an incredibly tight rhythm section with expressive horns and unforgettable melodies layered over top. They pride themselves on bringing a live experience that will inevitably move the crowd and leave everyone feeling positively uplifted, something we could all use in this day and age. So open your eyes and ears to the big, heavy sound of the Pinstripes.
