a brief histoire -- by skodt
We have been a band since late 2004. Before that, we had other things going on.
We've played all over Chicago. We occasionally play other midwestern locales. We'll probably move beyond the midwest soon. We like making music. We like bringing great bands from other places to Chicago to infest our xenophobic 'scene' with fresh sounds.
our first three EPs ('Pramsploitation,' 'Magnificent Mistakes' & '3') were recorded with three different drummers (Rebecca Louie, Billy Mitchell & Steve Ramsey, respectively). These days, we distribute all 3 as a full-length titled 'The First Three and Out.'
We're currently finishing a full-length collection of new songs. We record everything to a big, blue cassette 4-track & don't really use much in the way of effects beside a condenser, a simulated tape delay and a great-sounding room. We also do weddings, bat mitzvahs, soundtracks & scores. Well, half of those things.
hope you enjoy. Cheers!
