Founded back in 1988, The Rorschach Garden has been the private experimental project of P. Muench. He was playing with various styles of electronic music.
In 1991 he started to release his music on tape via 'Fich Art'
Because his musical output was larger than Fich Art could handle, he started to get in contact with various tape labels and did lots of tapes...
In 1995 TRG was set to a rest which lasted until 2000/ 2001. During this period P. Muench was doing some techno stuff.
But in the end he was bored about it and so he started doing again some songs.
In 2002 Bazooka-Joe was founded to release the first 7" (State Protection). Several vinyl releases followed and in 2005 the first CD album was done.
During that year, Babsi Teichner and Natascha Ruf joined this project and it became a bit of a 'real band'- feeling.
So far this short history...
And, of course, thanks to the following collaborators:
keenk (who was my producer and additional composer on 'the berlin archives')
morgenstern (who joined me on a song on 'the irony of progress')
matthieu maire (who joined us for some tracks on our first bazooka cd album)
darrin huss (for his voice on 'life is a combat' released on 'the toy factory')
charles de goal (who did the lead vocals on 'l'homme deconnecté' also released on 'the toy factory')
axel kaufmann/ insancity (who did the music on 'the decent smile' released on 'transfer')
As you can hear we love the sound of analogue synthesizers, but even some people say that we're doing retro stuff, this is not really true. Our music sticks definitely to the present time but we try to avoid those dancefloor cliches;)
some funny videos:
this one is an italian tv commercial for the ford fiesta containing a piece of our music:

yes. same here. they're fat, lazy and arrogant. all he wants to do, is sit all day on coutch drinking beer and watching Mexican soap-operas. all conversations with him start and end with him wildly shouting "Shut up, you unhatched!!!!! YOUUU - bring me MOOORE BEER!!!" So I'm not sure in his long distance flying abilities anymore.. When I put my money on him and his trainings, he was claimed to be one of the most promising young sport talents, but now... I dunno... maybe would be better if I pimp up my bathtub after all and be bobsledding through Poland to Germany with that.. in that case I'm afraid, this albatross guy will squeeze himself along with just a plain raw force - singing enthusiastically "Ja jaaa nach Deutschland!! OCTOBER FEST HERE WE COME!!!!!!" ....no use to tell him about calendar... or try to explain any other thing.. he just won't listen.....

certainly. i have my albatross already hatched and we are training close distance flights right now. i guess by April he should be ready for a longer trip. cause you see, i can't make this trip riding in bathtub all along the way through half of europe. times and trends change. it could look a bit silly.
