Thank you for checking out The Simple Discussion on Virb!
Just east of the Rocky Peaks you will find a band whose sights are set on a much grander landscape. The Simple Discussion is a rare breed of bands from the Denver area that are in it for the longevity of musical creativity.
Paul Wineinger (Vocals/Guitar /Piano), Nick Wineinger (Guitar/Keys/Vocals), Cameron Osborn (Bass/Vocals) and Carter Spencer (Drums/Percussion) are at the core of this indie quartet. Together they create a dynamic sound that has spread like a wild fire across the Colorado Front Range; and it is no surprise that such anticipation has built over their long awaited EP Translate Me to be released late November of 2009.
Since the successful release of Safelight, in 2006, The Simple Discussion has spent the past 3 years carving a niche in the Denver music scene, and developing a sound uniquely their own. Punchy intros, swirling guitar leads, delicate finger picking and sing-along sections are some of elements that can be heard on The Simple Discussion’s new EP, Translate Me.
In September of 2009 the group went into the studio with over 40 songs written. “The hardest part about having so many songs is deciding which pieces are going to mold the sound of our band,” says Paul. However, with a musical library growing The Simple Discussion is sure to please their fans for years to come.
