Ted has previously worked with Beth Orton, Francoiz Breut, Kathryn Williams, etc and recently released his third album 'Portal Nou'. Ted and Dale's track is called 'This old world grown quiet'. You can listen to the song on the TSY myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/thesleepingyears
All the songs on the EP have been arranged by Harry Escott and feature a small orchestra and choir.
The EP will be released on 1 Dec through Static Caravan and will also be available at the Xmas concert. Artwork is by Pika Pika.

'Arctic Circle Christmas Concert
More Christmassy than a partridge in a pear tree or a half-cut elf in a holly bush; this xmas extravaganza returns for a third successful year. Featuring such festive delights as:
Josh Weller, Paloma Faith, Ted Barnes, Dale Grundle (The Sleeping Years) & Harry Escott & introducing the Arctic Circle Ensemble & Puffin Voices
The event will feature a one off live performance of their sparkling new Orchestra & Choir epic 'That Fuzzy Feeling EP', available from early December on Static Caravan records.
Also featuring Will Dutta and Non Peters performing Arvo Pärt - Spiegel im Spiegel.
And no Arctic Circle xmas doo would be complete without these special guests, our cheeky winter visitors - The Peskimos.'
