theUNiVERSE is a kind of band that makes music from Melbourne, Australia.
They released their debut record in 2006 called 'the outer void intrepid sailor.'
A follow up - touted to be a Doomsday-themed record - is currently in the 'production' stages.
Due to other bands and commitments that the members of the Universe share, this record
will be in 'production,' for at least another 5 months. In the meantime, you can catch Ben Browning playing all over the world as a member of Cut Copy's live band. Lachy Franklin playing guitar with the Zebras in Europe during July, whist Gus will be doing an artist in residency (perhaps even recording some Universe songs), at the Department of Safety, in Anacortes from June til September.
