The Return Of the Magnificent

His first "Magnificient" Compilation back in 2002 blew me away. Why it didn't blow up is beyond me. Personifies everything that's wrong with music today. Anyway, fastforward 5 years, and Jeff's droppin' the follow up that delivers in all the ways the first on did. Excellent beats, excellent guests and an all-around great CD. Jus the fact that Big Daddy Kane drops some lyrics is enough for real heads to pick it up.If I have to pick a favorite track, it'll have to be Raheem DeVaughn tellin' fool's "My Soul Aint For Sale ". Jeff rocks the Norman Conners sample with excellence (there's that word again).

All in all, I'd give this joint a solid "4" out of "5".

I'm giggin' off the fact that '07 is startin' to feel like a good year for music. Let's keep it up!
