This collabo from last year totally escaped me. To tell you the truth, 9th Wonder has been growning a little tired on me. But then I happend to pick this joint up. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but the chemistry is there on some cool cuts like "You & Me" and "Bare Witness" . "Stop Foolin' Yourself" is my iPod rocker this week. Some hot ish.

Amy seems to be the import of the moment. I'd heard all times of gossip crap about her and recently found it she was a singer. Go figure... Anyways, I'm checking out the CD. It's different. Nothing mind blowing yet. "Rehab" seems to be the breakout pop hit. "He Can Only Hold Her" is my cut. It's really starting to grow on me.

Musiq (Soulchild)

I'm always down for new Musiq. I'm a big fan. When I got an advance copy to rock , I was crazy happy. This is typical Soulchild soul. "B.U.D.D.Y.'s" a nice radio joint. But "Ms. Philly" gets me open. Not as many cool trax as i'd like, but it's a hell of alot better then most of the crap out on the radio now.

This hottie is slowing sinking into the sea of 'models who can sang'. I was a little disappointed that most of the songs were basically cookie cut outs of all the rest of the female artists. Get the same beat, get a rapper to do a spot, and bam... Gold Record. But i guess that's the way it goes these days. I gotta stop hatin'. There's still some good stuff here. "Dog Love" with DMX is gonna bang for real. "Weekends f/ Cam'Ron" has the hot S.O.S. Band sample. But the real standout for me is the Neptunes-sounding "That's What U Are". Hot!
