I was taking a stroll and the scent from a plant triggered a nostalgic array of memories. I was overwhelmed! It was strange to suddenly experience vivid recollections of people and scenes that were once included in my daily routine. It made me look back to my childhood and remember friends that had always been a part of my life. There was never a time when they weren't---until now. It's interesting the paths we take and the people that come in and out of our lives. Even crazier, the smell of a flower forced me to think about old friends. Those same flowers grew outside my neighborhood playground.
