So NC State Yoyo Contest..
Current mood: accomplished

WAS FUCKIN AWESOME!!! im still NC as i type this, hangin out listening to two annoying ass dogs. but anyways, i digress. today was by far the most fun day i have had in a long time. i drove up friday, stayed the night, went the contest, and will be leavin tomorrow. i got to meet all kinds of awesome players and people today..mainly Pat Cuatero and Jack Ringca, and Mark and Allen and too many more to name, learned a few new tricks, and not that it matters or that big a deal, i also took 1st place in the Sports Ladder Division of the contest.

the sports ladder consists of a list of 25 tricks for 1a(one yoyo, string tricks..what i do the most), and 25 tricks for 2a(two yoyos, two hands, looping tricks..i cant do this for beans). you step on stage, and the judge proceeds to tell you to do the tricks on the list. you get only 2 misses for the entire list, and do not repeat a trick. so basically, you go through 25 tricks, unless you miss twice. then you go through 25 MORE tricks, again unless you miss twice. though fortunately you dont have to use 2 yoyos for the 2a part.

haha i didnt even do that well, but somehow, at my first contest ever...i took 1st place. i got some free yoyos, a couple of shirts, and thats all i really need.

also i almost got a tattoo. twould have been my 1st. but, the only reason i didnt, is becuz it was too late. when i get it, i will post pics. it has meaning to me..that some of you know. those of you dont, if you want to know, just ask.

anyways this is longest blog so far i think, and its prolly the happiest subject. i may not be that good at yoying. buts its fun, and very theraputic, and i prolly just spelled that wrong. i think this was the biggest kick i needed to actually improve again. so when i get home, i'm gonna play till my fingers are numb i think.
