We have tentatively scheduled this maintenance to take place sometime in the next. While we are well prepared, there is still much to do. The upgrades and data migration could take up to 48 hours to complete. So before the weekend is over, and we have a precise timetable, I will be sure to post an update - right here.

"...sometime in the next"? Next what? It was "next week". So now what? Next month? Next year? And obviously "the weekend" for the precise timetable did not refer to the weekend following the original posting of this "New Virb is Nigh" announcement 2 months ago. (Is "nigh" the new "soon" for IT people?)

Update, Nov 12 @ 2:10AM EST: We're back on track with Virb 2 after last week's server mess. The remainder of this week will be spent polishing up the 'new user' experience, in preparation for some 3rd party usability tests next week. Should be fun. Again, I'll be posting frequent updates on Twitter.
