Oh, I've been a very slack Virb-er (is that even a word?) Well it's not the I've been slack, it's more a case of not having the best luck with technology. When my computer works, the internet doesn't and vice versa, so much frustration is ensuing.
Work has also been extremely busy so I have very little free time there and the internet connection can be pretty bad at times too :/ Apparently we're getting a new computer/scanner/software and junior to do all the crappy car ads I've been complaining about. Who knows when that's ever going to eventuate, offspring is in charge of it. So months will no doubt pass, there's also the fact that they hate parting with money even if in the end it'll make everything better. At the moment all the "fun" stuff i.e. the non car ad stuff is being done by freelancers, who can do whatever they please and take as long as they want. And of course by the time it becomes actual work, we get it. What shits me the most is that if we were given the same brief it'd have to be done in a day (or a couple of hours), then chopped and changed so much that it basically not worth calling your own.
It's March already, the year hasn't been too bad so far. I've been working hard, saw my older brother get married, hung out with friends and relatives I don't see that often. Met a niece I'd only seen pictures of, ran around with the other one for an afternoon. Got my parents interested in their Wii again, Excite Truck is a fun game! Met the lovely Sighmon & Jessica (& a few more people but I'm terrible with names) got in a bit of drawing at the Exeter. Saw a couple of movies (my advice is give Jumper a miss, apart from the 3 seconds of the new Hives song it's really bad).
Last year I wrote myself a list of ten things I really wanted to happen, goals I guess to achieve to make myself feel better and to get out of the rut I was in. One of them was learn a language so I've started Japanese lessons. It's pretty early on (only 3 lessons so far) so I don't know that much yet and I'm not sure how much you learn in the beginners course anyway. I think the stuff I really want to know is in the following lessons throughout the year. Just have to concentrate and get the basics into my head.
I suppose I should post this, seeing as I've been writing it for a week now, there are probably heaps of grammatical and spelling errors. And seeing as I haven't posted anything in months there are a couple of new pics, some desktops pictures I made when I had free time, seems like ages ago :)
Hope everyone is happy and healthy, til next time.
