Ladies & Gentlemen: Art of the Trench ∞
(Future) Milestones in my life: Live in the bay area, work at a cheese farm, cook the perfect steak, inspire one person, taking my parents on a vacation, and owning a Burberry Trech coat.
If you want to do a fundraiser for me, and send me that check for the coat, please do so.
You might think this is just a coat (and yes you could), but it's way stronger than that simple thought. The trench clothed the upper rank officers during the WWI and WWII. The trench clothed Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca. The trench clothed that guy in the alley selling you those fake ass Rolexes. The trench clothed Brad Pitt in Ocean's Eleven. Simply put, the trench clothed kick ass people and it's timeless.
In this project, Art of the Trench, Burberry (The inventor of the trench coat) and Scott Schumann (of the Sartolialist. woot!) collaborated to create a collage of 100 portraits of people wearing the trench coat to celebrate its longevity.

Ladies and Gentleman: The Uglysuit ∞
Yes, this is a pretty old session on Daytrotter(just about a year). But hey, I just found it this morning and I felt it was necessary to share!
It's nice to know a decent band from your state; Well, if you're from Oklahoma, that is, or any other states not being known of having decent bands. There is a sense of pride. It's not as if they're trying to represent your state, but you feel as though they do.
The Uglysuit are from Oklahoma City. They're a blend of instrumental and happy legatos. Songs will start with some singing and then you'll be lost in their elongated instrumental happy session. It's not a jam session. Yet it's not epic like Sigur Ros, where you feel like you can fly over mountains. All you can feel is joy, it's that simple.
