Last night I spent a half hour down near Shields and some other street waiting for a train and pulling on a flask and it finally came and I was ready! Cassette recorder set up and last second I held onto the small wire connecting the mic and the train was maybe 4 cars long and it came and passed in seconds, moving so violently fast. The sound was just what I was looking for;

...so then I went home and mixed the cassette down and edited and shuffled around and completed just under 3 and one-half minutes of pretty much sonic pain. For a short art film I'll be presenting this upcoming tuesday; a visual and aural representation of an anxiety attack, and I think, at least, I can say that for myself, it's accurate. My pulse and BP increases every time I listen to it, but maybe more because I know what is coming.

Now I just have to complete the film editing and incorporate this final noise into the soundtrack.

I'm debating whether or not I should upload the audio track on here, because I'm not sure it operates on the same level out of context...but maybe, when the film is done, I'll put it up.

Hello to all my new friends. I've been kinda adding about here, but thanks to those who've accepted my humble invite.
I'm gonna try and make some personal hellos here soon.
I get this sinking feeling some people come here because they're fed up with MySpace, check their profile like crazy for, eh...a week, and then come back a few months later wondering why it's still here.
