I co-own Circle Six Design in Winona, MN. My official title there is Art Director, although I'm pretty heavy into the web development end of things right now. I listen to my music too loud and get obsessed with things for days on end but overall am a pretty moderate guy. I'm addicted to MPR (that's Minnesota Public Radio), shop too much at Target and have a perpetual need to keep moving. I have an interesting past that I'm fairly open about, but not open enough to put in a social networking profile ;-). Get to know me and you'll probably find out where I've been.
I'm married to a very beautiful girl named Aditi. She's East Indian, adopted by a Polish family, and raised with the name Aditi Azizi Czarnomski. That, I'm sure, was an interesting experience in small town Minnesota.
In addition to my agency, Aditi and I also own a pet supply store called The Urbane Animal. We sell very high end pet supplies to the small niche of pet owners in Winona, MN willing to buy the best for their pets. Of course, the last remaining competitor in town just shut their doors, so we're the only game left. It's buy from us or drive half an hour to La Crosse, WI, so we'll see what happens next.
I keep a blog running that lets me geek out as much as I want to. Right now I average about 1000 hits a day and have 850 regular subscribers. That's more than I ever expected, but it keeps it fun and makes me feel like I have a voice. Even if that voice wears taped up glasses and a pocket protector.
And I can say all I like about the books I read, but these days my collection looks like this. I get most of the actual good books from my wife's collection ;-).
MoodBlast 3.2: Leopard 2 days ago
With version 3.2, MoodBlast is now Leopard-only. This is to ease future development of a program that I love... but that doesn't exactly pay the bills. This change does allow for a slicker interface and memory management will continue to improve as I rewrite chunks of cod...

Nah, it's not too bad. I've grown up always hearing cicadas, just not as loud and as many as before. I remember being a kid and screaming my head off when I saw the shed shell on my old tree house. I used to call my dad over to kill it, thinking it was still alive :P But I actually find the sound really soothing and a reminder that it's summer. I just remember hearing it when I'd be out at my grandparents house riding on my bike on the sidewalks :)

Yeah, the cicadas in the photos are actually from Chicago, my friend Michelle was kind enough to bring a couple bucket fulls from her front lawn with her, so I've heard about your plight. I find the 17 year cycle fascinating, but as a kid I spent summers in Missouri and am all too familiar with the incessant sound. Maddening, isn't it?

Oi vey! I'll concur with Daniel. They're insane out this way. They came up about 3 days ago, and I still get goosebumps looking at all the little holes in the ground where they came out of. One of them flew by my head today and I nearly shat myself. Love the originality for this though! =)
