I'm a recently graduated student in SD who majored in Multimedia/Web Development as well as Graphic Design, with a minor in art. I wish I created better art than I tend to, but that will hopefully come with time......or better fleshed out ideas.

What are some good games and educational programs out there for linux. I am putting together a computer for a friend and I know she has some kids. It's going to run Ubuntu (for their sake) and I could use some good stuff to put on it for the kids to use.
